Pink Lemonade Stand Party

Pink Lemonade Stand Party

lemonade stand party-1

When the weather gets warm thoughts turn to cool drinks, sunshine and all things undeniably summer. In celebration of brighter days, Dina from Deliciously Darling Events gave the classic lemonade stand a modern ombre update that is sure to make it the most popular watering hole in the neighborhood. Thanks to  Lauren Nicole Studios  for the wonderful photography  seen here.

Lemonade stands pop up all over these days for birthday parties, playdates, and even for charity fundraisers like Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation that raises money for childhood cancer. (You can check out their foundation here and how even kids can get involved in making a difference!) It’s such a fun and sweet theme it’s hard to do it wrong.

While this set-up look mucho complicated, this lemonade stand is surprisingly easy to make. Instead of running out and purchasing lots of lumber and putting one together, Dina constructed the lemonade stand with one sofa table, two pieces of wood and four zip-ties.  A little creativity goes a long way! It was finished off with a darling hand-crafted ombre “Lemonade” banner–this was created with letters cut from a Cricut machine by Dina herself.

Delicious goodies go hand-in-hand with the perfect glass of lemonade. From the amazing yellow ruffled cake to the little french macarons, each and every thing on this dessert table reminds you of a summer day. Sweets included on this sumptuous stand were lemon shaped cookies, mini powdered donuts and lemon cupcakes. Perfect pairings for a cold glass of lemonade!

One of my favorite things about this shoot were the crafty projects that Dina created to decorate. The lemonade banner on the paper fans and paper flowers were amazingly gorgeous. i just loved them!
