Fabulous Friday Fetes: Boy Parties

I think we’re all drawn to the pink and frilly girl parties, ergo the good boy parties aren’t seen as much. Boy parties are far more challenging; to be creative, simple, and masculine  is harder than it sounds! In this week’s round up we have a few good boy parties seen around the blogosphere.

This Chutes and Ladders party by Pedicures to Puddles gets a gold star for imagination on fronts! From the invitation to the execution, the details are inspired.

Always love a GOOD pirate party. This one really sets the bar. Dubbed “Pirate Party Palooza,” it’s by Treasures and Tiaras out of South Africa, found on Design Dazzle. On a pirate aside, International Talk Like a Pirate Day is this month…we attended a great pirate party last year for this, and look forward to finding another this year!

Simple and well done is difficult, but this “Wild Rumpus” party based on the book “Where the Wild Things Are”  did an exceptional job of carrying through a fantastic theme without being too much. I love how she used the branches and die cut leaves—the color palette is fantastic! This party was originally seen on Hostess with the Mostess.

Love the soft colors that make you feel like floating in this “Flying High” party, seen at Celebrations at Home. There are creative little milk cartons and the little cloud candies are too precious!

The mustache party never fails to make me smile! Loved this one seen at Party Starters because all the details were all handmade–the bunting is simple cardstock strung with bakers twine. So neat!

And that’s all for this week! More parties next weekend!
