Shot at the Lost Dutchman State Park in the Superstition Mountains in Arizona, the area became the whole inspiration for the party. There is a legend of gold hidden in those mountains that tantalizes treasure seekers to this day, and the lure of gold nuggets was something the kids at the party couldn’t resist, either.

From water bottles to accent banners, and even a few dressed up straws, this rustic bbq party holds so much appeal. Even without a gorgeous rocky butte for a backdrop, this party is stunning.

The desserts at this Rustic BBQ party were completely homemade down to the graham crackers and marshmallows in the s’mores and served on linens made from gingham, denim and bandanas. Every barbecue needs some down-home style!

Dinner was served in pie tins with “branded” wooden cutlery tied with twine. Home made potato chips from a local restaurant were served out of dressed up aluminum foil pans.
