beside the seaside-13

It is the time of year — here in the states at least — where beach themed parties become wildly popular, much like our pink and yellow beach baby birthday party. Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of working with an amazing party crafting mom, Zoe, on a special coral and yellow beach baby party for her little girl izzy. some of my favorite things frontiers party:

  • Octopus pops-so cute
  • Darling handmade  paper party hats presented in a bouquet
  • Oyster cookies with little eyes
  • A pretty and feminine ombré cake
The beautiful photography seen here is by the talented Milk and Honey.

My friend Richelle is just one of those people that is a ray of sunshine wherever she goes and lights up the lives of those around her. I'm guessing it's all the sun and water she got growing up in the Florida Keys. The minute she let us know she was expecting another little one, I got excited to start planning out her baby shower. Richelle thought the whole idea of these mustache parties was a { Read More! }

We recently had the pleasure of working with Marie on designing a set in chevron and polka dots for her little girl Lauren's 1st birthday party. Lauren is a big fan of her Vulli Sophie La Giraffe, so that had to be in there as well! We supplied a few items to her and she was able to use them all in many different ways to achieve a truly custom look to her party. Talk about a crafty mamma! This { Read More! }

Having a fall birthday is a perfect reason to celebrate pumpkin style! The fall has it’s own spectrum of wonderful decorations that make a seasonal ‘Little Pumpkin’ party so much more fun. Ellen of Ellen Bessette Events styled this fabulous homage to the pumpkin patch for our little Maddy. There were lots of treats, cider, s’mores, apple bobbing, and of course pumpkins. Thank you to Jill Luecht { Read More! }

beach baby photoshoot - 20

Sandy toes and sunkissed cheeks are always the best part about an adventure at the beach, and I just couldn't think of a better way to celebrate a little beach baby's birthday than to be out on the sand. After meeting at the Central Florida Martha Stewart Dreamers into Doers event, Jennifer from Party Dreamz started to working on this "Beach Baby Birthday" piece. We designed a table setting and a { Read More! }

I fell in love with paisley the minute Ashley handed me the designs. My love was deepened once I saw the beautiful work that Ellen from Whimsical Mod Parties did in styling her daughters Madeleine's Dol Celebration. So what is a Dol Celebration? In Ellen's words: "It's a Korean tradition that celebrates the first birthday. It is a big milestone (long ago many babies didn't make it to their first { Read More! }

There are so many crafty and creative mommas around the net, and I'm really happy to have "met" this one in particular. Paula at JC's Loft taught herself a new graphics program (no little feat) just so she could design her son's party just the way she wanted it, and then came up with all this fabulousness for the event! I guess I should also mention that this pool party was thrown at an indoor { Read More! }
