teacher gift tag-1Both my kids started school this week. There were equal parts relief and sadness as they are both in elementary school now–sad to admit they are no longer babies! But on the first day of school, we showed up with our smiles on and a little present for our new teachers. This teacher gift idea is easy to make, and I’ve even got a free printable for you to help you pull it off in a snap! No hot glue required.

It’s as easy as a trip to the grocery store. I bought a box of the Starbucks VIA instant coffee packs, a box of pre-wrapped biscotti, and a cute coffee mug for each of the teachers. Stuff the coffee and biscotti in the mug (teachers love consumable gifts!) add the free printable teacher gift tag, and you are good to give. Don’t you just love easy gift giving?

teacher gift tag-2If you didn’t catch it already, you can download this free printable gift tag here! Just print to white card stock, cut out and punch a hole to accommodate the ribbon. Hope you all have a happy first day of school! Stop by my other first day of school posts for some more free printables to make the day more fun:

Shutterfly to the rescue! I think I've professed { Read More! }

First off, I want to give a little apology for a flaky site and radio silence the last few weeks. Sadly, I was the target of a hacker that caused more than a wee bit of trouble here on site. With every single one of my fingers crossed, I can say that I think might be all fixed up now and able to start resuming posting. Thank you to all of you for being patient! I appreciated all the emails of { Read More! }

Finding things for the kids to do to keep them engaged (and out of trouble!) all summer can be an adventure all on its own. It's always good to have a few things up your sleeve to keep their little hands occupied so you can keep the peace! For Design Dazzle's Summer Camp this year, I came up with a Backyard Photo Scavenger Hunt. You give your kids a list and a camera, and let them wander { Read More! }

teacher appreciation free printable tags

This year, I was a little slow on the draw for teacher appreciation week. Mostly because I had bought these darling Lilly Pulitzer travel mugs (my son's teachers are Lilly fanatics) and I wanted a clever tag to go with them. But the more I thought about it, it wasn't clever I wanted, I just really wanted them to know that I was thankful for everything they did for my children. After all, they { Read More! }
