Graffiti was once considered a fringe activity that was thought to be more for delinquents than true artists. Time has changed that perception and graffiti is now mainstream, with some artists selling works for hundreds of thousands of dollars, and advertisers clamoring for commissions.
For ages 10+
In this 4-class session, we’re going to explore a bit of the endlessly fascinating graffiti world with four hip and fun paintings//drawings where the kids can explore their inner tagger and learn a little in the process.
The day before classes, I’ll send an email with some recommended videos to watch about the artists so we can spend most of our time painting/drawing!
