About to Pop Free Printable Baby Shower Invitation

A few weeks ago, I posted up a super-cute free printable baby shower party favor idea over at Project Nursery. It’s absolutely perfect for a the popular baby shower theme “About to Pop!” Every once in awhile, I get a little taken with a design and can’t help but take it a few steps further, so I’m happy to offer a companion piece, an About to Pop Free Printable Baby Shower Invitation!

After you download the free printable baby shower invitation file here, you’ll be able to customize the invitation with your own information.

To dress it up a little, you can use one of my favorite printable-enhancing tricks. The layer and folder invitation.

The printables are sized 5×7 to fit an A7 envelope, so you’ll have to trim down the as-is invitation to make it layerable and still able to fit into the A7. Trim off 1/8 inch from each of the four sides of the invitation and you’ll be set. Use double stick tape to stick your invitation to a 5×7 piece of colored card stock.

Using a different color of card stock, cut a 7×10 inch piece of paper. Fold it in half to create a folder and put the layered invitation inside, taping it down to the folder.

To dress up the outside, cut a two 10-inch lengths of ribbon and layer them over each other. I find double stick tape is the best option to keep everything in place here.

Wrap the ribbon along the outside of the invitation folder. You can tie a little (or big) bow to go on the outside, or leave it plain.

And with that, you have an extra special invitation to hand out for your party!

When I originally left a commeent I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on whenever a comment is added I receive four emails with the same comment. Is there a way you can remove me from that service? Thank you!

Cute, but I can't save it...I don't have a color printer so need to take the file to Office Depot for printing. When I save it (tried numerous times) none of my information saves, just the "type name here" etc. form....any suggestions?
