Big City Mom’s Event in Miami with Project Nursery

Once upon a time, long long ago I used to set up and go to many tradeshow type things for my employer(s). When I went to the Big City Mom’s Biggest Baby Shower Ever with Project Nursery last month, it was the first time in longer than I can remember where I had the opportunity to man such an event, much less enjoy myself!  A huge thank you to all involved, and especially Angel Grey Photography who made the trip to Miami to provide us with such beautiful photography!

What better tones to bring to such a bright and colorful city than bright shades of pink and orange? With our hot pink floor and linens, we were definitely an attraction not to be missed at the event.  While chatting with all our visitors, we pushed candy offered them a sweet treat from the candy bar I designed just for the day. Using our fun new Hothouse Flower pattern, I designed custom logo circles, scrapbook paper and table tents to decorate the jars.

These absolutely GOREGEOUS fondant toppers were supplied by the marvelously talented Sugar High. I constantly had to assure people that the cupcakes were indeed edible! Some things are just too pretty to eat.

Among the sweets on the table were also some extremely intricately designed sugar cookies by yet another talented company, The Hungry Hippopotamus. I couldn’t believe the detail in these!! They tasted divine on top of being so beautiful.
