All the Whos down in Whoville would heartily approve of this Grinchmas party to celebrate the 25 days of Grinchmas! We put this together for Random House and the winter issue of Yum! Food and Fun for Kids.
As far as do-ability for your own Christmas Grinch feast–YES! There was a ton of DIY for this Grinchmas party, mixed up with a few purchased pieces for pop.
One of our Grinchmas Party activities was to have a reading of “The Grinch that Stole Christmas.” The couch area was decorated with some painted laser cut frames, with inserts made from wrapping paper and Grinch silhouettes. I love parties that give the feeling of characters without having them all over every surface. The idea of the Grinch, the dog and Cindy Lou Who were the perfect touches!

After dessert, the kids made paper wreaths to take to the local nursing home to decorate the resident’s doors.
There was, of course, a reading of that classic Christmas tale The Grinch that Stole Christmas.
