How to Set up a Burlap & Butterflies Mother’s Day Brunch
STEP 1: Make a Menu
This is often the hardest part. Something about pulling together recipes that all work well together make people itchy. Here is a summery menu that is sure to be a crowd pleaser, and one that is easy to make as well:
- Spinach, Artichoke and Feta Quiche
- Spinach and Strawberry Salad
- Warm rolls (purchase!)
- Strawberry Lemon Trifles
STEP 2: The WOW Factor
Always do something at a party–or brunch–that makes your guests feel special. In this case, I opted for a champagne bar. Champagne bars are so much simpler to set up than they sound. You need three things:
- Champagne
- Two mixers (or more)
- Champagne glasses
Bonus style points if you find yourself with a champagne bucket to ice your bottle of bubbly.
To decorate your champagne glasses, click over to Celebrations.com for the free printable butterflies and instructions. There is a free printable champagne bar instruction sign there as well.
