Winter Table Inspirations

Oriental Trading provided a few of the products you see in this post. Affiliate links also ahead–they cost you nothing, but keep the servers here running!

If you’ve wandered the stores at all at Christmas, you’ve probably found an item or two that was so gosh darn adorable you just HAD to have it, with no ideas of what you might do with it when you got home. I’m a bigger hoarder of pretty things than I probably should be myself. For instance…Christmas trees. I seem to have them in all colors and varieties, bottle brush, paper, and the regular variety. A little inspiration struck when I placed them together, adn here’s a few ideas for a winter table!

The white Christmas trees and silver boxes come from Oriental Trading. They have a surprising amount of Christmas decor available online!

I laid out my wedding china for the table. This is officially the first time I’ve used it! I topped the boxes with a little Cricut made snowflake.

Oriental Trading also has some lovely white lanterns that are going to be perfect for oh-so-many occasions!

A few silver Christmas picks made the table look magical.

I’ve also got a collection of white paper trees. They looked perfect next to my ombre leaf garland. I made that baby with my Cricut, and my hands have never been more thankful for not having to cut out little pieces individually. You’re going to see this piece again come Valentines Day!

On the sideboard I also put a decorative cake. A few cut out snowflakes were the perfect topper!

Oriental Trading has really stepped up their game and I love it. Your wedding china is beautiful and I hope to see more of it. Thank you for sharing this softer side of Christmas and have a perfect holiday.

Meet Paula

My father came home from a trip for work when I was a little girl toting a huge (to me) book of fairy tales. I was instantly smitten with the beautiful illustrations and the stories that came alive from those worn pages. My favorite was always the frog prince…my mother read it to me over and over (and over.) Read More…
