Monsters are people, too! That’s the theme of one of my kids’ favorite movies of all time, Hotel Transylvania. Imagine the excitement when we found out Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation is going to be released on July 13th. There may have been some jumping up and down and screaming when the kids discovered this nugget of information.

hotel Transylvania 3: the movie

For those of you not familiar with the Sony Pictures Animation Hotel Transylvania franchise, it’s about monsters who moved from living in the shadows and vacationing at Hotel Transylvania to stay out of trouble with humans in the first movie to coming out of dark to vacationing on a luxury monster cruise ship in the third movie. Drac (the star and owner of Hotel Transylvania) needs a vacation of his own, so he and all his monster friends take to the seas for some fun. The vacation goes bad, though, when Drac falls for the captain of the ship who hides a dangerous secret that could mean the downfall of all monsterkind. These movies are so campy and fun, they’re one of those you’ll love watching with your kids.

How to make Popscream Caramel Popcorn Sundaes

The Hotel Transylvania movies do quite a bit of punning around with the food all the monsters eat. My personal favorite was always the scream cheese (that actually screamed) and bagels they served at the monster buffet. “Popscream” might be my attempt to be a little punny myself.

I know this concoction sounds…interesting. Promise, though, it’s going to be a hit with the kids! The salty sweet inventive flavors from Popsecret make it great, their popcorn has unbeatable taste with better ingredients.

Caramel Popcorn Sundae Ingredients:

• Popsecret Kettle Corn popcorn
• Vanilla ice cream
• Caramel sauce
• Green round chocolate candies
• Purple round sprinkles

You have to love a fun and easy treat. To make these caramel popcorn sundaes, scoop up some good-quality vanilla ice cream into your favorite bowls (ours happen to be monster shaped.)
