DIY Grocery Store Dessert Spread

I think people (who aren’t party planners or serious bakers) sometimes get a little intimidated at the thought of putting together dessert table displays. I was glad to see Amy Atlas, a party planning pro, cover a DIY grocery store purchased dessert spread from Bride Scouts that I think makes creating a sweet buffet seem a little simpler. Aside from being a hysterical read, Bride Scouts proves you can have the fancy look without the fancy price (less than $40!!) and do it all with glassware you have on hand. You can see all the pictures of her fabulously frugal and fuss-free spread here, including a complete grocery list (how handy!)

A little fancy paper and some creative arranging go a long way – I think next time I put out a dessert spread, I’m definitely spending a little more time in the bakery aisle!
