Now you have to fill your diy hangover kit with things that will take the edge off the morning after! This post was sponsored by my friends at Cricut. They have amazing products, so you’re going to hear all about my opinion on that, but these thoughts, feelings and ideas are my own. Also, there are affiliate links within this post that cost you nothing to click on, but help me keep this site running.
Every good bachelor party, even a clean bachelor party, has a little collateral damage the next day. Show some kindness to your friends and party goers and send them out into the world with a DIY hangover kit complete with a little hair of the dog. A Cricut Explore Air 2 machine is a bonus when making these, but there are instructions and printables below to make these without one.
As far as easy of putting these together goes–it’s simple. You’re pretty much just going to peel and stick the decorations on the outside and drop a few hangover necessities into the hangover care package.
Hangover Kit Materials
- Gable Box
- Cricut Printable Vinyl
- Cricut Black Vinyl (optional)
- Cricut Transfer Tape (optional)
- Hangover kit Hair of the Dog PDF file or PNG file
- Tissue Paper
- Hangover necessities (ideas on this later)
I super love these hangover kits. They’re perfect for bachelor parties or bachelorette parties, or even as part of hotel gifts if you’re anticipating a particularly huge throw down at your wedding. Could be a great party favor for an adult birthday as well!
Hangover Kit Assembly
There is not a lot of craftiness involved with this project. You just have to know how to operate (at a minimum) a printer. If you don’t have an awesomesauce Cricut Machine, download the Hair of the Dog PDF file. Print that bad boy out onto the Cricut Printable Vinyl and cut the labels out…you’ll just need one label per box, but I’ve included three to a page for you here.
Why the Cricut Printable Vinyl? I just discovered this product, and it’s absolutely amazing. I never promote products I don’t love. First, it’s VINYL, so it’s WATERPROOF! Second, this vinyl can be printed on. Thirdly, it’s got a sticky back so it’s great for quite a few kinds of projects. Water bottle labels come to mind immediately. And they are probably the most affordable waterproof label sheets I’ve seen around–here’s where I found them inexpensively!
If you’re one of the cool kids and have a Cricut Explore Air 2 , you get to skip the menial task of cutting stuff out. Download the Hair of the Dog PNG file, upload it to design space as a print and cut image, duplicate it three times and click GO! You’ll print out your image on the printable vinyl, then watch in amazement as the machine perfectly cuts each label out for you. I was in awe myself of this feature.
The “REGRET NOTHING” under the label I think is a stellar touch. Because the morning after is usually nothing BUT regrets, right? Your party is going to totally be worth the A.M. headache, so it’s a sentiment that needs to go on the hangover kit box. If you don’t have awesomesauce Cricut Machine, you sadly are going to have to skip this part.
If you are the proud owner of a Cricut Machine, go into design space, then follow these directions:
- Insert text box.
- Type in “Regret Nothing.”
- Change font to Bebas Neue (download here for free)
- Resize quote to 4 inches wide.
- Duplicate for as many boxes as you are assembling.
- Click go to cut.
Now you have to fill your diy hangover kit with things that will take the edge off the morning after!

This such a cute idea! We're planning a big celebration the end of the month and a few of these might come in handy. Thanks again for showing how easy it is to use the Cricut.
