Puppy Love Valentine MailboxValentine’s Day always means giving or receiving valentines of some sort. Our young puppies made some super cute dog house shape letter boxes for their valentines at our puppy love party. As a valentine to you the templates to make doggie valentine boxes of your own are available here as free printables!

Step 2. Glue door, side panels and name plate to gable box.

Step 3. Using an exacto knife, cut a slot in the side of the gable box for valentine givers to slide their love notes through.

Step 4. Fold the template for the roof in half. This is the full sheet of scrapbook looking paper. Attaching it the roof to the box is a little tricky, but I found putting a line of glue on the edge of the slope of the box was the best way to get it to stick. When you stick the roof on, make sure you make the back edge of the paper flush with the back of the box…this will make for a Slight roof overhang in the front. And that is it! If you have any little artists at your house, supply them with crayons, markers, and sparkles to make their valentine doggie houses even more beautiful!

Those are too adorable! Way better than the gooey, glue-covered shoe box I always attempted.

I love your Valentine Mailboxes. What child doesn’t love mail? This reminds me of something I had in school years ago as a youngster, however it wasn’t as cute as your mailboxes. I adore this day project. Thank you very much for joining in the celebration of #purebloglove, we enjoy having you each week. I hope to see you on Thursday at 8PM, EST through Sunday night. ~Cydnee

Meet Paula

My father came home from a trip for work when I was a little girl toting a huge (to me) book of fairy tales. I was instantly smitten with the beautiful illustrations and the stories that came alive from those worn pages.
