outdoor entertaining essentials

Summer is all about entertaining outdoors especially at night when it’s cooler with a nice breeze. Whether you’re by the beach, poolside, backyard patio or at a local park – bringing the party outdoors is so much more relaxing and easy going.
By utilizing easy to dispose unbreakable colorful cutlery and servingware allows a more casual party atmosphere. Meals can be served in cardboard boxes wrapped with ribbons or secured with colorful washi tapes. Also transitioning indoor home accessories to be used outdoors lends a more informal ambiance such as bright trays, wooden cake stands, lanterns or candle holders. Lastly, throw pillows in colorful hues and light throws on your patio set and chairs add comfort to your guests!

Enjoy entertaining this summer!

Meet Paula

My father came home from a trip for work when I was a little girl toting a huge (to me) book of fairy tales. I was instantly smitten with the beautiful illustrations and the stories that came alive from those worn pages. My favorite was always the frog prince…my mother read it to me over and over (and over.) Read More…
