Superhero parties are always so fun to flip through. They’re colorful, highly graphic and the kids always look so darn cute running around in their masks and superhero capes. So when my dear client Cecelia wanted a superhero party for her son, I was pretty excited to help her out! (She is so super creative, no pun intended.) Thank you to Jacinta Young Photography for the beautiful photos.
As always, she had a stellar superhero dessert table set out that was just enough to nibble on, but not enough to overwhelm.
Super cool superhero sugar cookies!
Madiera cake is a dense buttery cake most often seen in European (and Austrailian!) countries. The dense cake I imagine lends itself perfectly to being dipped in chocolate and would be sturdy enough to stand up like these stars.
I love how superman is holding up the top tier of the cake and spiderman is climbing over the side! It was made by Marica.
Darling! Superhero cake pops–they all have little capes! Love this kind of detail.
Check out these table settings. Such a great contrast of color and pattern and a super cute party favor at the place settings. And bonus points to Cecelia for including a toothbrush with all the candy.
Her photobooth for the party really made me crack a smile. Every child got a pretty spectacular superhero outfit (she purchased the capes and masks on Etsy) and they put them on and laid over the city scape like they were flying! So funny!
The part of Cecelia’s parties I always love the most is the effort she puts into the kids’ party activities.
She created a full-fledged superhero obstacle course for the kids…they had a heck of a good time running through superhero scenes dodging villains and saving the day.
At the end, all the party-goesrs got a superhero certificate to make them certified superheros! So fun!

What a dream party theme idea for any little boy. I'm sure they all had an amazing time. I especially love the backdrop and the party favors.
