New Year’s Eve is approaching quite quickly! Whether you’re throwing a huge bash, or a small get together, you can celebrate in style with a few simple DIY decorating ideas. I developed this sophisticated and glittery New Year’s Eve party idea shoot in gold, silver and black, where you’ll be able to see:
- Tissue Paper Fringed Garland Decoration tutorial
- Glittered champagne and wine bottle tutorial
- Elegant chalkboard serving tray for New Year’s Eve tutorial
- Champagne Glass Tiramisu
- Sophisticated New Year’s Eve table setting ideas
- Painted gold and silver vase centerpieces
All are perfect ideas for spending a nice New Year’s Eve at home.
The best part of this entire inspirational photoshoot is that I did it mostly with things I had around the house. I had to go out and buy a bit of wrapping paper, ribbon and a few flowers, but for the decor, the rest were made from staple-type things I had on hand–and I would say it wouldn’t be a-typical for most other people to have them as well.
If you like tiramisu, the recipe I created is a quick and easy to make version that you can serve with a little elegance out of champagne glasses. Just make sure you find some extra long spoons to go with them!
The glittered champagne bottles were easily my favorite project in the bunch. They look so cool in person, and really, that bit of glitz is the perfect touch for a New Year’s Eve party. The bottles can be decoration, or you can use them for a spectacular champagne toast.
If you’re planning to seat your guests for a formal dinner, I’ve also got a few ideas for you to create sophisticated table settings with inexpensive pieces and again, thing you probably have or could find at a thrift shop. Be sure to check out all the DIY New Years Eve details!
