A Grinchmas Party

ginchmas party-7

All the Whos down in Whoville would heartily approve of this Grinch party to celebrate the 25 days of Grinchmas! We put this together for Random House and the winter issue of Yum! Food and Fun for Kids. There was roast beast, Who pudding and Cindy Lou Who wreaths (recipes available in the magazine).

After dessert, the kids made paper wreaths to take to the local nursing home to decorate the resident’s doors.

There was, of course, a reading of that classic Christmas tale The Grinch that Stole Christmas.

  1. Love it all, but that tree is GENIUS! Those drawn ornaments! Ack!

  2. Where can we find the printables for the decorations and instructions for things?

    • HI Leticia! There is a printable invitation on the Yum! Food and Fun for Kids site, lots of DIYs in the magazine and I posted up a tutorial on how to make the Christmas trees.

  3. LOVE it so much, Paula! Great job!! (as always)

  4. Girl – you outdid yourself! Love, love, love it!

  5. It looks like a movie set. Well done Paula!!

  6. The other day I saw this in Yum Magazine. I picked it up at Barnes and Noble and flipped to it and thought, hey, this looks a lot like Paula. THen I flipped back to the beginning of the article and saw Photos, story and styling by Paula Biggs. Ha ha. I bought it. :)

  7. Also, I absolutely love it! Wish I was closer so I could come to some of these awesome events!
