It’s a ball designing for children, but every once in awhile, it’s nice to step aside and do something for an older crowd. It was nice to have a breath of fresh {creative} air when I had the chance to work on a little collaboration with Natalie at Southern Belle’s Charm (don’t you just love that name?). She provided all the concept, styling and yummy appetizers for this New Year’s Sophisticate display!
Natalie used a backdrop of black and white damask and blended in lots of fun elements like feathers, mercury glass, clocks and wrought iron. I just love the place settings she created with the truffle favor boxes, and the black velvet paper party crackers!
And no party is complete without a few beverages! Potter + Butler provided these precious pom pom place card holders that were used as wine glass markers. The labels for the drinks were custom made (available here). The labels:
Revel in the bubbly bliss and the possibility of things to come
Celebrate old vines + old wines, good friends + good times
Water under the bridge
Again, it was great working with Southern Belle’s Charm, and am so glad I had the opportunity to make a new friend and do a little something different! You can see the rest of the pictures from this collaboration here on her site. Be sure to check out her other inspired parties while you are there!
