{REAL PARTY} Murder at the Four Deuces

I recently had the pleasure of working with a bright and enthusiastic 16-year old on her birthday party. For her sweet 16 rather than choose a big and glitzy event, she wanted to host a murder mystery party with her drama friends. I think this party was perfect for her and the rest of the budding actresses and actors–and I’m always for a party where you get to wear a costume!

Emily planned the entire party herself, finding the story line and how-to-host-a-murder-mystery supplies online, then contacting me to design some printables to match her party. The setting was a 1920s casino, so we gave everything a deco vintage vibe. The cute card cupcake toppers Emily came up with herself! She also set about planning a menu, the decorations, favors, setting up all the characters at the party and then figured out how to hostess during the party (her and her mother were the servers!) for her first big bash. I’m so proud of her! I understand the party was a big hit with her friends, and they all can’t wait to have another. What a fabulous idea!
