Most home entertainers right about now are starting to sift through their closets and holiday boxes to see what they have that can be used for all the festivities of the coming months. Most years when I do this myself, I feel a little disappointed. (Mostly because I get easily bored with my serve ware.) But it’s ok! I don’t ever go out and buy all new everything. I find a new pieces that are good basics I’ll have forever when this happens, and buy one or two things that I know are trendy this year but probably won’t be in love with in a few years. That way I’m not blowing my holiday decorating budget and I’m making sure everything sparkles just the way I want it to for the season.
They’ll probably pull my girl card for saying this, but when I do my shopping for updates, I have such a short attention span for browsing the stores I do all my purchasing in my jammies. At home. From my computer. While I’m not “cheap” per se, I definitely always do try to get the best deals on my holiday entertaining purchases. The new weapon in my armory? CyberMonday.com. I went shopping through their site and found all the best deals on particular items I was looking for as well as the deals that my favorite stores were running. I found deals on my purchases from free shipping to 40% off, all of which helped me update my holiday hosting pieces for less.
Here are a few pieces I’d love to have (or bought!) that I found through the CyberMonday.com site–and all for a deal!
- Snowflake Place Mat | Pier1 Imports
2. Modern Gold Flatware | Sur la table
3. Mikasa Cheers Confetti Salad Plates | Bed Bath & Beyond
4. Gold Fluted Chargers | World Market
6. Antler Taper Candleholder | World Market
7. Noritake Golden Set of 4 Wave Holiday Mugs | Macy’s

I love how CyberMonday.com has taken all the leg work out of hunting down deals and discounts and put them in one place where I can access them with one click. And come time for Black Friday/Cyber Monday? They’ll have tons of exclusive-type promotions available. I can’t wait! I’ve already signed up for their newsletter to get the juicy sales ahead of time (you can do this from the very bottom of their website.)
