This week is totally full of Halloween festivities, in and out of the classroom. Which also means it’s a week where we have to have TONS of Halloween tricks up our sleeves! Preferably the inexpensive variety. But inexpensive candy is usually a bore, and who wants that? With a little fun wrapping to make vampire bat lollipop favors, these Tootsie Roll pops will be the treat kids grab for first.
Materials:
Assembling your Ghost and Bat Lollipop Favors
There is actually a ghost included with the bat. It’s a little less work to put together, so your choice on which one you want to do. After you download and print out the Ghost and Bat Lollipop Favor Free Printables, cut them out. Difficult stuff, I know. After that is done, you’ll fold the wraps into a “U” shape along the lines.
Hold the top of the wrappers together and punch two holes close together to string your ribbon through. Tie a bow or tie a knot with the ribbon, whatever strikes your fancy, just tie the top of the wrapper together.
Push a the stick of your lollipop (it will be upside down) through the space created by the ribbon. It should be a snug enough fit there that the lollipop will stay in place.
For the bat favors, glue the colored side of the wings to the back of the wrapper and your bat lollipop favors are done!
Spooky, right? Happy Halloween treat-giving!
