Twilight Bloody Good Vampire Milkshake Shots

twilight-milkshake shots

Hallloween parties and specifically, Halloween party foods are so much fun because they tend to bring out our creative if note devious sides. From eyeballs floating in the punch bowl to brain or spider shaped cakes, Halloween treats are my favorite to make all year!

Of course, if the idea of fake severed fingers in the dip aren’t your style, take a classy clue from our Twilight inspired Halloween party with these bloody good milkshake shots. Strawberry purée and dark chocolate syrup create an ominous looking drink that will delight even the most brooding vampire.

When you’re assembling these, making them perfectly imperfect is the key! Don’t worry about drizzles and drips, they are meant to look a little messy.

Bloody Good Milkshake Shots

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Dark chocolate syrup

Purée the strawberries and sugar in the blender until completely smooth. Set aside. Add ice cream and milk to a clean blender and pulse until smooth.

Pour one to two teaspoons of strawberry purée into each shot glass. Carefully fill the remainder of the glass with the milkshake. Rim the edge with the dark chocolate syrup.
