Have I got a free printable classroom Valentine for you! After listening to the song “Despacito” on the radio ad nauseum this fall, inspiration struck along with a fit of silliness for Valentines this year. Instead of candy, these Valentines use a single serve pack of Cheetos…and a quaint little free printable classroom Valentine tag that says “Despacheeto”. I apologize in advance for the ear worm!
My daughter is crazy excited to give these out for her Classroom Valentine. Maybe. I think she may have eaten all the Cheetos all already (never buy Halloween or Valentine candy/treats early!!). She was also desperately excited to help WRITE the copy for these tags (and help out with writing this post.) There may have even be an entire spoof song about Cheetos written at the same time. Watch out world…we may have another English major on our hands.
To make this Despacheeto Valentine, all you need is single serving size bags of Cheetos, a stapler, and the Free Printable classroom Valentine file.
First, cut out your Printables. Then, fold each tag in half with the design on the outside. After that, you want to hold the Cheeto bag in an upright position, and staple the free printable to the top of the Cheeto bag. On the back, your kids can write a “To” and “From.” (You may want to do this before stapling, as it’s easier to write on the tags then.)
Seriously, it’s about the cheesiest Valentine I’ve seen this year! And totally worth a giggle.
