Tween age girls love unicorns. Little girls love unicorns. Heck, I even know adults that love unicorns! It totally makes sense to bring a little magic to the classroom with unicorn free printable classroom Valentines.
We came up with these after a trip to Target. I let my son rifle around in the dollar bins to find something he might want to put with a Valentine card. (We would design a card for the toys he picked out.)
He has lots and lots of girls in his class and he thought they would all really love the darling little unicorn erasers he found. If your Target does not have unicorn erasers, there are lots to choose from on Amazon here, affiliate link. We found our erasers for about $.25 apiece at Target, and flat erasers would also work here if you can’t find something similar!
I do love how crazy easy it is to put together a unique valentine for the kids. I also like that we picked out valentines that did not involve candy. Last year we did these ninja Valentines, and the kids went wild for them. Goes to show there doens’t HAVE to be sugar involved for them to love them!
To assemble the Valentine, all you have to do is print the file (download here) to heavy white card stock. (Click here for tips on making professional looking printables.) Cut out the squares, then have your child sign his or her name to the back and address them to their recipients. Do the signing before you add the erasers. It’s just easier for the kids.
I tried washy tape and a few other things to attach the unicorn eraser to the cards, but I found that a simple glue dot really worked best to get it to stick.
Hope these unicorn classroom Valentines help make it a magically wonderful day for your kids! Check out other Valentine printables you can download for free here.
