To Assemble the Free Printable Pokemon Valentine Cards
First thing’s first. You’re going to need the graphics for this! Your free printable pokemon valentine pdf file is in that hyperlink there. Click it and download this super cute free printable Pokemon Valentines your kids will go crazy for.
Got your free Pokemon Valentine card download? Good!
Open up the file and print as many as you need, whether that’s 3 or 300. After you print, cut each Pikachu rectangle out. So easy! This is a good point at which to let the kids write on the cards.
I then used my handy-dandy Xacto knife to trace around the ears. Be sure you have a cutting mat or something similar to keep your table nice.
Fold the card in half to make the ears pop out.
A quick piece of double-sided Scotch Tape (or glue) will keep the folded Pokemon Valentine card together.
These Pokemon Valentines get a little sweet treat! Find some heart shaped chocolates (like these), add a bit of double-sided Scotch Tape and adhere the chocolate to the card.
No Candy? No Problem!
Now, if you want to skip the chocolate heart step, that’s A-OK. I designed these so you didn’t HAVE to do that part. There is a cute little heart there already on these free printable Pokemon Valentines. I’ve had a few parents suggest sliding a Pokemon playing card (like these) through the slit in the back made by the ears as a Valentine treat. So clever–and far less sugar!
