You Are My Sunshine-Breakfast Birthday Party

A lot can be said for the morning time birthday- freshly rested toddlers, clothes that haven’t been spilled on, finishing touches done while little ones are still asleep, and naps for all when it’s over.  Ah yes, the morning birthday – a wonderfully overlooked little treasure.

Pairing this great little party timing with a theme around some of the sweetest lyrics ever written, ones that evoke the warmth of the sun on a toddlers cheek-near perfection.

Yellow just makes me cheerful.

lovely

I would take this and frame it for somewhere like the bedroom or kitchen after the party.  No use in letting something this cute go to waste after the party.

A quick how-to for these fun confetti-filled eggs, along with more party details from the host can be found here: It’s Ella’s World Now.

A clever host never forgets some memorable games. Kids just love them.

These are quite impressive.

No words can match the cuteness of these.

I love this! My daughter will be one in August and we live in AZ which is awfully hot that time of year. So we'll do an early beat the heat birthday party. And if that is not perfect enough her name is Solana, which means sunshine! Thank you for the great idea!

So sweet! I think that sounds like a wonderful idea for a first birthday! Hope you have a wonderful time planning the party.
