{Real Party} The Aston Cup Soccer Party

It’s always fun helping someone meet their party vision, and in this case of this soccer party it was a wonderfully sweet party planner, Lili, of Swanky Chic Fete. She had a very clear idea of how she wanted her son Aston’s party to look like, and it was fabulous to help her along and watch all the elements of the party come together as she found the perfect party pieces and details.

Some of my favorite details of her party were the cake (WOW!) by Sweet Boutique Bakery, the ice cream truck she had roll up as a treat for the kids, and the party t-shirts she had made by a friend. And of course I also love  the way all the colors just seem to pop right out of these pictures! Lili is a fantastic party stylist, and I always look forward to seeing what she comes up with! You can see all the party photos on her stylish blog Swanky :: Chic :: Fete.

I love that Invite!!! SO CUTE!

  4. Patti says:

I, too, loved looking at the cake, the favors, the treats, etc. B-u-t, the poster spells the little munchkin’s name as “Ashton”. Is it “Aston”, as it is on the cake, or “Ashton”, as it is on the poster?

  5. Patti–the invitation at the bottom was taken from my store. This was not Aston’s actual invitation (his was completely in silhouette), but good eye. :)

  6. Patti says:

Whew! Good to hear. As a fellow graphic designer/artist, something like this is among my worst nightmares.

And boy, I really loved the poster!

Take care, and all the best.
    Patti
