{Real Party} A Savvy Gingerbread Playdate

The Savvy Moms Guide served up another fabulous playdate for their children…really, Bri & Amy, if you’re looking to adopt, I’d be willing to be one of your kids. But since it looks like those slots are already filled, I’m more than happy to have been able to help out  out with a few paper goods for their party–and to have them inspire the final design.  The Savvy Moms bring such style and color and FUN to their playdates, they always make me smile!

I just love how they cover every little detail down to the ribbon on the cute little chef hats, and they do it with no small amount of creativity and by shopping through the dollar aisle.

These kids had to have a ball with this. Look at those icing bags—even those are trimmed with ribbon and an initial card!

And then Bri and Amy treated the kids to story hour with a reading of “The Gingerbread Man.”

And their sweet station was positively precious. I love the colors in these photos. And the creative use of the milk carton treat boxes! They managed to get milk in them!!

Thanks again to The Savvy Mom’s Guide for another savvy party and the chance to work with you – it was fabulous!

Meet Paula

My father came home from a trip for work when I was a little girl toting a huge (to me) book of fairy tales. I was instantly smitten with the beautiful illustrations and the stories that came alive from those worn pages. My favorite was always the frog prince…my mother read it to me over and over (and over.) Read More…
