Trick or treating is fun…but TRUNK or treating is a complete blast! We look forward to our trunk or treat events every year because they combine all the fun of handing out (and getting) candy and wild and crazy creative Halloween decorating. MINECRAFT trunk or treat is our theme this year. Yes, I’ve relented and given in to pressure from my kids and done another video game theme (sigh) but it came out amazingly well.
And since a trunk or treat is always more than one decorated trunk…as part of Tikkido.com’s Trunk or Treat blog hop, you’ll get ideas from over ten bloggers who KNOW their Halloween decorations. Armed with all these fantastic ideas, you may even win best trunk!
I couldn’t really tell you what my favorite part was in all of the decorations. Probably the most fun was watching how excited the kids got as I brought each piece of their favorite game to life. And they had a great time education mom on Minecraft in the process. We pulled out spooky things from the game to help decorate, per the children’s specifications. Everything was made from cardboard boxes and paper, so supplies to DIY a similar trunk is within reach.
