With Thanksgiving only a week away (!) I’m already starting to figure out teacher gift ideas for those wonderful teachers we have that take such good care of my kids all year. All the teachers I know have told me the best gifts are either consumable or cash-like with gift cards to places they like to go. And while stationery isn’t an edible consumable, it’s a great choice as a personal gift because it is definitely something that will get used up! Plus, it makes a great base for a gift basket.
You can take a few different approaches to a gift basket theme; for this one, I chose little pampering items she can keep at her school desk to use during the day. Cappuccino, lip balms, fancy chocolate and some special pens to use with her really awesome stationery were a few things I put in.
This set was for my daughter’s teacher who coincidentally is her science teacher. She was over the moon in love with them. The paper is such an excellent quality; I was impressed with them as well! The paper poinsettia tutorial can be found here.
For a little extra gift, you can include the matching notepad. It’ a pretty big pad of paper, and again, excellent quality from Expressionery.com!
After watching the video below, you’ll realize I don’t function well before my 3rd cup of coffee, but I do go through how to put together a basket like this one. Please do stop by Expressionery.com and browse their awesome offerings. They’re definitely some of the best custom stationery companies I’ve used, and a perfect place to look for teacher gift ideas!
